Swim team captures medals at Agoo

La Salette Varsity members captured gold, silver and bronze medals during the 2016 Philippine Swimming SL Series CNL-CAR held at Agoo, La Union.

  • Sean Iverson Fabiana: Gold Medals (100m Freestyle, 200m Breaststroke, 400m Freestyle, 1,500m Freestyle, 50m Breaststroke, 200m Backstroke, 50m Freestyle, 100m Butterfly, 50m Butterfly), Silver Medal (100m Backstroke)
  • John Patric Villacorta: Silver (100m Freestyle) and Bronze ( 1,500m Freestyle & 50m Freestyle)
  • Hans Lyle Pasaoa: Gold Medal (4 x 25m Medley Relay) and Bronze medal (100m Butterfly & 50m Butterfly)

La Salette sends student to Milpitas City, USA

Henessy Operana at Milpitas, USALa Salette School sends Henessy Operaña to this school year’s Student Exchange Program at Milipitas City, California, USA together with other student representatives from other schools in Dagupan City.

The team is led by Dagupan City Mayor Belen T. Fernandez together with a group of city officials, department heads and student leaders.  The group arrived at the San Francisco International Airport on Monday night, October 10, 2016 via Philippine Airlines PR 104 for a goodwill visit as part of Dagupan City’s sister city agreement with the City of Milpitas.

The aim of the program is to establish a Sister City relationship between the City of Milpitas and City of Dagupan to enrich cultural understanding, create adult and student exchange opportunities and broaden cooperation to encourage goodwill between the Cities.  Milpitas City is represented by its City Mayor Jose Esteves who traces its ancestral roots to Dagupan City.  Both cities support the promotion of mutual understanding, expansion of official and non-governmental exchanges, and friendship through promotion of peace, stability and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific Region and the world at large.
